Creative expression is a very necessary human experience. All people should be offered the opportunity to develop their creativity and expressive voice. Join our lighthearted environment and discover, joy in creativity, skills in hand eye coordination, cooperation and peer support, problem solving and reaching personal goals. Classes will continually be offered in throwing on the potters wheel and classes on the handbuilding processes. Please see current schedule for listings.

Welcome to Lily and the People - A teaching pottery school!

Education, exploration and community are all values which Lily and the People embody. It is a place where young and old can begin and develop their relationship with the arts. A place where the community can flourish and give back to those in it, a wealth that is shared in the spirit of community. 

Note: The Seattle location of Lily and the People is now closed.  I have moved my pottery teaching to Bremerton, WA under Carrie Gustafson – Teacher, Artist, Potter.

LATP Update

Lily and the people Pottery School closed in December 2009.

 

In April 2010, I relocated to Bremerton, Washington and created a personal studio in my home.

 

It’s beautiful here and I live very close to my daughter and her family.

 

While researching and creating personal work, I got involved with O.C.C.C. clay club.

 

Fabulous teachers and great people working in clay!
